ownCloud powered file sharing and collaboration for millions of users across the globe for over a decade. When development stalled and the codebase was left on PHP 7.4, thousands of administrators were stranded — running critical infrastructure on an unsupported runtime with no clear upgrade path.
EFAdrive was built by an ownCloud administrator who refused to let that work die. Known high-risk vulnerabilities remediated. Dependencies updated. Features preserved — and new ones added. This isn't a replacement. It's a continuation.
